Jack was recently promoted to Customer Service Manager, reflecting a long and successful career with MRSI solving customer challenges. In his 10 year career with the company, Jack has accumulated an impressive set of skills covering process and application engineering as well as an intimate knowledge of our systems. Prior to MRSI his early career at Amkor Technology in the Philippines included roles to qualify products and optimize processes of advanced semiconductor packages. Jack holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
Superior Process Knowledge
Similar to many members of the MRSI Customer Support team, it is Jack’s advanced process knowledge of die bonding, dispensing and more complicated applications that customers really appreciate. Specifically, his product and service knowledge includes, hermetic packages, military packages, eutectic die bonding, and epoxy dispensing.
Two real-life examples illustrate this knowledge in practice. Recently he was able to help a customer with packaging a product that had large die and developed the right dispensing pattern on the MRSI machine to ensure there were no voids. In another example, Jack used the MRSI-M3 to apply partial referencing on the package and the components which created an automated process for aligning, dispensing, and placing of components for a complicated modulator assembly process.
Problem solving is at the heart of our Customer Support team’s approach.
In his new role, Jack is now using that deep knowledge to further develop the skills of his team to continually improve the outstanding service that MRSI has been delivering for years. As demands on our customers increase, it is important that MRSI continues to innovate their support service to meet those demands.
