Irving Wang joined MRSI this year as the Director of Product Marketing. He is based in the US to spearhead MRSI’s push into the sub-micron market and to support our newly launched MRSI-S-HVM sub-micron product. Irving will be working closely with senior management and our customer base to develop our short and medium term product road map and go-to-market strategy.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the optoelectronics, telecom, and IT industries. With his skills in business strategy, product marketing, and service operations improvement, Irving brings a well-rounded background.

Through his extensive experience in both the US and China at Corning Lasertron, CyOptics (later part of Broadcom), APAT Optoelectronics and McKinsey & Company, he understands the telecom and datacom market dynamics, especially the opto-electronic device packaging requirements and processes, as well as customers’ decision-making processes. Irving received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Peking University, Beijing, China, a Ph.D in Physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, and an MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Hanover, NH.
